Great Lake District Location

Seathwaite Farm Campsite

If one of the best things about a campsite is where it’s located then Seathwaite Farm is blessed with a truly stunning location just off the southern end of the Borrowdale Valley, south of Keswick in the Lake District National Park.

The farm offers a large camping field suitable for tents and motorhomes so everyone is welcome and there’s space for all.

The campsite has the use of the on-site shower and toilet block situated just at the entrance to the farmyard plus the new Eco-toilets we have recently installed.

Where is Seathwaite Campsite

Seathwaite is almost central to the north-western, central, southern and western Cumbrian Fells. The site is absolutely perfectly positioned for those that like to explore and walk the local mountains and especially convenient for the Scafells, Great Gables and so many more. There are a great many well-trodden popular walks directly from the farm. So whether you want a real challenge or just a scenic amble, Seathwaite has them all!

The same can be said for the cyclist too, both on and off-road, with numerous challenging and scenic routes dependant on your preference.

If you feel the need to travel a little further afield and want to leave the car behind then there is a regular local bus service from the end of the lane.
